TechSuppNet 0 Posted February 7, 2013 Has anyone seen this unit not switch between NTSC / PAL? The documentation says it sets the signal based on the channel 1 camera input. I have an issue where I'm trying to get some GV-VMDC dome cameras connected. I've tried 12vdc / 24vac power supplies thinking it was not getting enough amps per channel. The cameras are getting power. The dvr basically is set for PAL and it cannot be changed (unless through rs232 or jumper reset). I've tried resetting to defaults and even pushing that button on the motherboard. I've tested these cameras in an NTSC environment and they work. The DVR powers up and works as expected..just because of the signal difference the video signal is distorted. Thanks in advance.
Jota 0 Posted March 31, 2013 what I do is turn on the DVR, which is not (do not mention the model), connected to a monitor in NTSC and also the cameras connected to the load. Then check and see that should boot in NTSC.
