I need help connecting avi cameras to computer please : )

Hi

i have wired cameras set up with the yellow video cord i am currently using a cheap 4 channel usb dvr avi to usb device i got of ebay.

It came with super viewer software which is really crap, i can only record 1 camera at a time and i want to be able to have motion sensing software, and also view camera's

over the internet.

Also this crappy avi to usb device is starting to fail.

 

Could anyone direct me to a better device that is compatible with a good possibly free or cheap software. like Ipsy or something, i already have all my camera's set up i just need to be able to connect the yellow video cords to my pc somehow. And then have a software that recognizes my cameras and connection device. : )

Seems like a lot of work just to see camera's. For around $65 on ebay you can get a new dvr and have all the features that you need plus more.
