DVR Standby Light Flashes Only.

Hi,

 

For the past couple of weeks, my e-vision dvr has stopped working. The standby light is flashing and thats it.

I have only had it for 15 months, unfortunately the warranty ran out and I don't really want to get another one.

 

Would anyone know what the problem may be?
