h8that4u 0 Posted February 14, 2013 Hello all I have an Eclipse Orbix 16 mx DVR, that when I got to the office this AM, all it was doing was cycling thru the lights on the front (Power,HDD,Internet) and the monitor will display the cam images for around 30 sec's, show "Please wait Initializing system" then will go blank and start all over. I have tried unplugging the system for 15 min's and plugging back in and it still does the same thing. Any other suggestions on how to correct the issue. Thanks for any input and suggestions. h8that4u 0 Posted February 14, 2013 Hello all, figured out the issue and thought I would post to let others know. Open DVR unit and unplug data cable and power cable from the HDD. Then plug the main power back in, if the unit boots up properly you have a bad HDD, replace and all is well, if it continues the "death roll" then you have a bad main board.
