Running Windows 7.

Were told by Q-See tech that my upload speed is too low. Not able to log in to remote viewing from outside.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Maybe you said it and I don't understand, but is the NVR at home and PSS is running outside your home via the internet?

PSS is not easy to configure, took me a while to barely get it working but I do like the asian influence with the Chinese characters on the screen. You need to configure it so it recognizes your NVR, then you'll see all your cameras on the screen. Also, the NVR has a web server so you can connect to it via the internet. Sort of kludgey but may be good enough. Also, there's iDmss, their IOS and Android app for viewing the NVR remotely.

Thanks!

The NVR is working at home on a monitor but when going through network I am not able to see anything through PSS or InternetExplorer. On IE I get the home screen with 4 empty windows, KBPS running and brief message "unstable network". Would internet upload speed have anything to do with it?

Really mad that there is no support for Blackberry 07

Did you look at the pic I attached, the device manager screen is not even full It's been very frustrating for the past couple of days.

Yes, in that screen is where you add cameras or NVR to PSS. For the web interface, yes, it's blank when you first start. I forgot what you click on because I ony borrowed the NVR, but there's a button you click that adds all the cameras to the web interface or double click on each camera and it brings up, something like that.

No, internet speed has nothing to do with this, you are viewing on your home network. I think what Q-See might have thought is you are using PSS to view the NVR remotely which is how many people would use it.

Thanks again. Guess back to calling q-see tomorrow.

When going through Explorer the viewing windows blink with an image and quickly disappear (stays white with brief message unstable network)

Also when viewing through Mozilla or Chrome, does not give you the full config. menu and only can see one camera at a time unlike on IE

Search google for PSS DPI fix

PSS is 4.06

Please point me in the right direction or if you have exact link that would be great!

Thanks so much again
