need to add an extra length of cable and add extra cameras

need to add an extra length of cable to improve the position of a camera If I turn

off the power should it just come when I reconnect the extension to the cable and repower up

I am using the Intellex Lt system with panasonic and 2 dome cameras and when when I use the

schedule function I can't see any added cameras I put names for them that is all I can do they appear greyed and untouchable I am the administrator so what else am I doing wrong help needed please.
