jbfoster 0 Posted February 23, 2013 I have searched but can't find a solution. I purchased this camera off eBay and I can't get it to work. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221167670045?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 I can login to the camera but there is no picture. I have used IE and Firefox. A couple of months ago I bought two Q-see 720 IP camera's from Costco but they did the same thing. When I login to the camera using IE it ask to run a Q-see add-on. I select yes but sill no picture. The Q-see camera's did the same thing so I returned them to Costco. I'm stuck as to what to do..... Thanks Jim
dexterash 0 Posted February 23, 2013 Can be your PC's hardware or some software settings. Run IE with admin rights, from the X32 directory of Program Files. or Install Quicktime and try to see it on Chrome/others. Also, does your PC support FullHD decoding and displaying? Maybe your video card has some problems (or the drivers)
buellwinkle 0 Posted February 24, 2013 It may be your IE setting. Install a program called VLC and try entering the RTSP steam URL and view the camera that way. Also, you can tray the ONVIF URL to see if you get a snapshot. Certainly. the person you bought it from can provide support, no?
vector18 1 Posted February 24, 2013 Put the URL of the camera in ur trusted sites. try that

vector18 1 Posted February 24, 2013 Firefox does not install active x, only IE. Only use IE for remote viewing.
platinum 0 Posted February 25, 2013 Add to trusted sites and turn down all your security settings for internet, local and trusted sites. Once you get all the Active X stuff installed and viewing is working. Turn your settings back to default.
