sal 0 Posted November 13, 2005 One of the most common sales/tech questions out there is in regards to integrating Geovision with a POS system. The main thing is to make sure you have a POS system that output in serial ASCI text. Often, with POS systems it is impossible or nearly impossible to emulate a serial output without connection to an external printer. If you are going to buy an external printer, I highly reccomend Epson, since we have it working with Geo in our showroom. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Besides, the Epsons are used in most gas stations that are using Gilbarco G-Site and Ruby Verifon SS POS which seems to be the popular areas for this application. The Gilbarco G-Site is just pinning out a connector a little modified, as well as the Ruby. We don't even use the Data Capture modules, they just get in the way and add cost.
