ICRealtime IP Cameras

I was talking to a potential customer the other day.

At his house he has one icrealtime camera and wants to add another. He uses icrss for viewing.

I'm having a hard time finding who sells icrealtime cameras. The sites I do find that have them look kinda shifty.

According to icrealtime, only their cameras are compatible with the icrss.

 

Some say they are rebranded Chinese cameras like Dahua but I'm not really sure about that.

why just buy dahua........ save you alot of money

Dahua and that ICRSS is just PSS but has anyone here actually proved that and used it this way?

 

I know this is a simple little add on but I don't want to get parts that won't work with what the customer already has.

PSS is free along with all remote software just load it and log onto your IC

Icrss and he doesn't want to change that.

Yes they do ........ Ic are dahua distributors

Their product definitely looks to be rebranded Dahua stuff but I know rebranded stuff can still have some differences such as software comparability.

They are definitely more than just a distributor of Dahua.

It's also not free like pss, it costs $30

Most likely they paid to get "custom GUI/firmware" for their units

I used to work for a company that installed ICrealtime and for my own jobs I use Dahua equipment. I have noticed that some of the ICrealtime dvrs do not work in IDMSS and visa verca with the ICrealtime app and dahua dvrs. And I have noticed the same

for the ICRSS and PSS, some dvrs connect, some do not. I do believe ICrealtime does something to their firmware to sort of

make it their own. But, side by side, they look like the same exact equipment.
