platinum 0 Posted March 9, 2013 Anyway to get the NVR to do viewing at higher fps then 60@fps. I don't mind that limitation for record but really want higher viewing fps. I tried turning off record for a couple of channels but that didn't seem to work. I don't necessarily need to record all channels so have flexibility there if I somehow can get better viewing. coolie11 0 Posted March 30, 2013 I'm assuming you mean 60fps total for all cameras? You will need to reduce the Resolution and Bit Rate.
dexterash 0 Posted April 1, 2013 On a NVR, usually, recording = decoding... So you can't display realtime and record at any other FPS. (that's one of the differences from NTSC/PAL DVRs)
vector18 1 Posted April 1, 2013 I don't know about anyone else, but I'm confused as hell with this question!
coolie11 0 Posted April 1, 2013 On a NVR, usually, recording = decoding... So you can't display realtime and record at any other FPS. With Dahua NVR you can, you can set Main/Normal Stream to 30 FPS and Motion Stream to 15 FPS and set Schedule to Record Motion Stream and your live view will be the normal Stream.
