CER 0 Posted March 14, 2013 Hi Guys, First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this. I have some Dahua DVRs (1604HF) and I seem unable to change the FPS and resolution settings. As soon as I change them and reboot the system, they change back to their default values. Since it is happening with more than one unit, I believe we may be making a mistake in saving the configuration setting, but seem unable to figure it out. Thanks! coolie11 0 Posted March 30, 2013 You are more than likely exceeding the system capabilities of FPS/Resolution. Try setting all channels to D1 with the FPS at 7.
vector18 1 Posted March 30, 2013 You do not need to reboot, simply click refresh to see if your setting had saved or not. And as said before, you might be exceeding your limit thats why it's not saving.
shockwave199 0 Posted March 30, 2013 With the dvr's I've used, although not this one, it won't let you save if you exceed the limits of fps/resolution. You get a warning that you've exceeded. And there's a save button in the menu, so there's little doubt about how you save. If it's letting you keep the settings after a save, don't restart to confirm it. Back out of the menu and then go back in and see if they took. Yeah, you've probably exceeded the limit, but weird that it would let you do it without throwing you a message that you can't.
