AVTech KPD677 not streaming H.264

Hello,

 

I've recently purchased a 8CH KPD Series AVTech DVR (KPD677VLC-B), to replace my old DVR mainly for audio streaming and for the EagleEyes App for iPhone. The problem is that in VideoViewer even if i select at the Format/Resolution field H264 before i login, the video quality of real time streaming is horrible. It looks like MPEG4 or less. I searched everywhere in the Settings panel and i couldn’t find anything related to streaming quality.

 

I tried multiple versions of VideoViewer (on different computers too) and i noticed that with the latest (1.9.4) the field at Format/Resolution is disabled! What is going on? Isn't KPD677 supposed to be a H264 video streaming unit?
