irishcrows 0 Posted March 18, 2013 I using Samsung’s Smartviewer to access a DVR of the local network. The DVR is an SRD-1652. When I attempt to perform a search I get the following error: “No permission found”. I get this message whether I am logged in as Admin or a user will full search rights. The tech support at Samsung suggested I upgrade to the latest version of the firmware (v1.12) and the software (v1.14.) I did both with no success. Has anyone encountered this issue, and if so, how did you correct it? Thanks you Michael

JazzyStahh 0 Posted April 30, 2014 Sorry for post digging but did anyone figure this one out?
irishcrows 0 Posted April 30, 2014 It had to do with the permissions on the DVR. The user logging into the software also had to be on the DVR with search permissions.
Justtopostthis 0 Posted January 20, 2017 I finally sorted this on mine. In the DVR setup menu, on the "Network" tab, select "Connection Mode", then "Port". Make sure Protocol Type is set to TCP and not UDP. That fixed it for me. Hope this helps someone..
