Duane 0 Posted March 22, 2013 Hello I’m fairly new to the IP camera would and am looking for some feedback. I work in an industrial facility that uses a video system to monitor the process in real time, with about 3 days worth of storage. The cameras that were originally installed are no longer available which is forcing us to upgrade. Our current system is somewhat proprietary, in that we must buy our cameras from the same company that supplied us with the system. I have been looking at alternate VMS systems and am curious about Milestone Systems, is this a good company to use or are there other manufactures that would be better. Current system is 2 servers, 70 standard definition cameras, and 17 end user view stations with multiple views ranging from 4 to 15 views. I would like to upgrade the software/computer side and then replace cameras as needed. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
