scaisse 0 Posted March 26, 2013 Hello Friends, I have just purchased a SDE-5001N - Samsung 16ch Security Camera System. I have the electricians coming out today to install CAT5e RJ-45 cable in various locations where the cameras will be placed. I was just asked by the electrician if the wiring standard for the male connectors that will attach to the DVR and cameras is T568A Wiring or T568B Wiring. Reading on the internet, I can see this has to do with the order of the 8 wires from the cable as they are crimped into the connector. I see in the Samsung mannual, that there is an illustration of the connectors, but it is not clear to me which standard of wiring is shown therein. Therefore, does anyone know whether I need to tell them T568A or T568B? Thank you in advance, Steve Dallas, Texas.
