buellwinkle 0 Posted March 28, 2013 The most recent Window 7 Update brought in IE 10 and Dahua is not playing well, no video. Tried "compatibility view" but still no video. Anyone get past this yet? This applies to the Costco Q-See also. Other brands like Panasonic, Sony, Axis, AVTech all work fine with IE 10.
dexterash 0 Posted March 28, 2013 Just upgraded it and it works with no problem
buellwinkle 0 Posted March 28, 2013 I upgraded two PCs and one works, the other one doesn't. I tried the ActiveX controls from BahamaYellowpages.com but no luck. It was working with IE9, so I'm stumped. With IE 10, are you able to go to the Dahua website, DahuaSecurity.com. Mine says "Page Can't be Displayed".
dexterash 0 Posted March 28, 2013 delete the ActiveX and try to reinstall it by Running IE32 as admin. DAHUA's been down for 6 hours now... i don't know why
MaxIcon 0 Posted March 28, 2013 Lots of people are having trouble with Windows update KB2670838, which is a prerequisite for IE10. There are lots of reports of some PCs running OK, while others fail after this update: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_update/update-problem-kb2670838/62e4aafb-e73e-4610-83ec-8629a60777be?auth=
buellwinkle 0 Posted March 28, 2013 Removing that update also removed IE 10. Dahua cameras re-installed the ActiveX controla and no video. Tried Q-See, nothing either.
buellwinkle 0 Posted March 31, 2013 I re-installed Windows, mostly because I wanted to switch to SSD, but this fixed the problem. I can view Dahua cameras on IE 10 now.
