dexterash 0 Posted April 3, 2013 Empire or Dahua I do suppose you meant someone else?! True, there could be a problem stocking&selling all products... Needs, besides cash, tech support (from low-level MP IP to Video Door Phones - which is a rather new branch- and to Video Analytics; I'm excluding simple analog and other things that are "daily"). On the other hand, maybe Q-SEE saw the real advantage of DAHUA and they try to be more responsive locally.
buellwinkle 0 Posted April 3, 2013 Empire or Dahua I do suppose you meant someone else?! Yes, the forum changed the name to Dahua, but it's another small reseller of Dahua products in the U.S. selling under their own brand name and carrying a very limited product line. solidwitness 0 Posted July 22, 2014 Do not be fooled. I have seen multiple 100-200+ ip camera installations using Dahua. In fact some of these installations are upgrades from well respected IP systems. Not only single locations but multiple locations spread over multiple states. If drawing battle lines between Avigilon vs Dahua, there are many features from both that need to be considered.
