Recommended Posts

Hey guys, help NEEDED...

I have purchased and installed two 4 camera and 4 channel dvr. I want to be able to view both dvrs through the one monitor screen.. (My monitor does not support PIP). Is this possible? I have been researching for hours but can't seem to find a simple solution.

just to re-cap.

I have 8 cameras and TWO 4 channel dvrs. i want to view them both on the same screen if possible. My monitor does not support PIP..

Any advice would be great

the dvr manufacture is cocoon and the model is DVR6093.

I was hoping to be able to connect them straight to my LCD TV. which doesn't have PIP..

Are you trying to view them both at the same time?

What monitor are you using?

I don't think what you are trying to accomplish is possible.

What you can do is use the 2 x Composite video in's, or 1 Composite & 1 VGA video in and switch back and fort.

You can also use a Quad Splitter, but that will give you a four way split with two views showing 4 cameras each, which in my opinion is useless. see Below.

Cheapo KVM switch will give 4 channels at a time on a VGA monitor for dirt cheap. Just flick the switch for the other 4.
