RoSi 0 Posted March 31, 2013 Hi, I am owner of Hikvision 7204 DVR and havig some trouble to send test email using these settings: SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com Username: my gmail email Password: my gmail password Port: Either 465 or 587 is not working Use SSL: Yes DVR is correctly connected to internet. RoSi 0 Posted April 2, 2013 I am having same results with server on IP that You provided. With autentification off. I tried to turn it off on gmails smtp server, but thete is no chance that their server allow You to connect to it without an authentification. Getting crazy here.
