gazz 0 Posted April 4, 2013 Could it be caused by a load of the infra red led's dying? I noticed a similar problem on one of my cams, great pic in decent light, at night it was grainy as hell where it used to be clear, i found out about 3/4 of the infra red led's had died, i put another illuminator ting assembly in that camera, all led's working and the picture was back to normal at night again, If the cam can't be opened up to have it's led ring replaced, then maybe an external infra red illuminator mounted by the side of the cam may help... tho it depends on the cost of a new cam of course. joseph.chen0312 0 Posted July 15, 2013 Firstly, yo ucan check does IR is turn on even at the day time? I guess it there are two reason may cause that, one is lighting sensor(CDS) is broken so it makes IR long time turn on and flowing high heat increasely then casue high noise. If CDS is fine so probably is bugging initial design in IR heat is can not cool down, therfore caused high noise.
