Resetting admin password

Good day to you, I'm in a rather tricky situation. I have a XVR264-0810 DVR from X-Xore Technologies that no one knows the passwords to. The owner needs some recordings recovered from the hdd and a new password set so the DVR can be used.

After searching online the only thing I can find is a Datasheet from X-Core, which doesn't provide me with an answer. Any one out there that has run into the same problem and been able to solve it?

There is one factory-preset login name/password aa/11 at Administrator level. The

user can use it to login the system for the first time.

Should the user have forgotten all the administrator-level passwords, please

contact the local dealer or installer to recover from it.

Dear Sir,

 

For technical support please turn to your local DVR supplier, if he needs technical help he will get it from us.

 

If for some reason your supplier can't help you please give us your name, your company's name and address and which company did you purchase the DVR from. For security reasons we can't give the reset procedure without verifying these details.

Thank you for your help. I received the same answer from X-Core to my email as you posted, the company that the DVR was purchased from is trying to dig up the information for me but as the timing is rather urgent (my company's client, the owner of the DVR needs to access the recordings as soon as possible), I'm trying all avenues to gather the required information.
