KasaY 0 Posted April 11, 2013 Hello, I am working on my school thesis, but I need some help. I have a task to make cctv system, but somehow I cant find out, how it can be done. Imagine you have 14 IP cameras far away from each other, but they are one by one almost in a row. The longest distance from switch is more than one kilometer and shortest is just a few metres. Is it possible to use just one cable, lets say fiber one? I have only found way like this: http://images.dipol.com.pl/images/info/00010111101191.gif (where red cable is fiber one) but this will not help me because both cameras are connected to that L421 thing, which is obviously some kind of converter.
