Reviewing lots of footage at once on QC-804

So i just installed a QC-804 DVR in my house because someone has been coming in and sometimes taking stuff, But now that i have it all running (recording 24/7) What is the easiest way to review the footage? I am not really sure when they are coming in so i am have to review every bit of footage of when i am not home. But the only good way to do this i found is directly on the NVR and still its not that great plus for me thats hard because its hidden in a crawl space in the basement. So i need a way of reviewing from my computer or something. The PSS software doesnt work for this either.

 

Now i can download the footage into a AVI via the web interface, but that doesnt do me much good unless i have some sort of program to go through the footage and tell me when it sees motion.

 

I havnt been able to figure out how to setup the motion detection alarms so that i can just go back and look when the alarm was triggered but reality i dont want to relay on the motion detection.

 

So if anyone has any ideas or suggestions i am more than happy to try them!
