Configuring static ip on dvr 250 away

Hello all,

i want to know that if my dvr and router are distant apart within the same building than what would be the best option to connect them,the distance is approx.250 feet,please advice various options.i suppose that there is a cable length limitation to keep in mind also so what to do in that case?thank you.

Ethernet spec says the max length is 100 meters which is nearly 330 feet. So 250' should not be an issue.
