griffonsystems 0 Posted November 19, 2005 i have a custom build gui on a chance i hardware compression board - i set it at 704x480 for 16 cams on a 480 frame card which avg 7.5fps/channel.. on the lower res u can get 30fps but i think for hotels/hospitals the high res and lower fps is good.. this system is 90% of my sales.. stable as hell and the easiest gui i have ever used

Guest Posted November 20, 2005 it is many chance-i system sellers under theirs own brand. Is it chance that for example ntic boards will work with onix software? or chance-i boards with others software?
Thomas 0 Posted November 21, 2005 Generally software is built around the quirks of a single card.
Guest Posted November 21, 2005 Generally software is built around the quirks of a single card. Yes but all ntic, onix, etc, boards comes from chance-i factory it seems to me. Theirs software - the same (chance-i gives option to make OEM menus, etc). The question is - can be possible that chance-i makes some a little hardware changes in theirs boards for differnet OEM sellers - to not allow run others software?
