Speco DV-16-TH - Hard Drives Hold Only Video Recording?

I am wondering if the hard drives are holding only video recording, no operating system. Anyone know?

 

I notice on boot the message something about RAMDisk. I am wondering if I can replace all drives without cloning, just put in new ones and format.
