Thomas1331 0 Posted April 24, 2013 Hi, When I access my DVR from remote location (webserver), the speed is perfect when I watch online but it becomes really slow when I try to watch from recorded history. How can I solve that problem? I use 4 simple analog cams with regular quality and less than 7.5 frames, with 1Mb upload, so the bandwith should be enough (at least so I was told). Thanks in advance! kongaleti 0 Posted April 28, 2013 in addition to bandwidth, the line should be dedicated instead of shared
vector18 1 Posted April 28, 2013 Make sure you watch one camera at a time. Or if you want history, download the video first than watch it. Which DVR do you have? What is your bitrate set at?
Kawboy12R 0 Posted April 28, 2013 Make sure you're not watching a lo-res CIF stream live (when the speed is good) and switching to watching D1 when you watch recorded history (when the speed is bad). Transferring 4x the data might be the problem.
