Problem is the systems they sell in department stores are poor quality and I want to set up a better system. Possible to do it myself? Thanks for your time. Installng it will be the same regardless of product quality. Installing it yourself will let you learn about your system and how it works. You may make mistakes but that is part of the learning process. I have seen some excellent DIY installations & some piss poor professional installations. For entry level systems I work on these criteria. Picture quality , ease of use , cost and (nearly) most important warranty.
