Looking for a CCTV System

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am looking for a CCTV system which has 4 cameras, I require a DVR for recording as well but do not need a monitor. I have been searching for CCTV camera systems butdon't know which to choose. Are there specfic brands that are the best and could anyone post a place or a system that is good for night vision? I was thinking of purchasing this system :http://www.maplin.co.uk/1tb-8-channel-h.264-network-dvr-with-4x-ccd-cameras-and-smart-phone-access-593863

Any advice and help appreciated.

Netview CCTV because of the prices. Specialise in Qvis which is a well known quality brand.

only if you buy the dahua ........ your link show the LX which is not

Agreed, the iApollo & iZeus range is the Dahua range I believe and is far superior than their lx range.

Go for any CCTV camera you wish to buy but an IR illuminator and get installed. This will help you get a better picture quality. I have an Axis camera with an Axton IR illuminator . AT-6E-S is the IR illuminator which I use. This provides a well camera synchronization. It works perfectly and gives a high quality image. IR here are cost efficient and provides a lifetime warranty with advance replacement.
