Dahua NVR3204V-P couple of questions...

Hi guys I hope you can help me out here,

First question is : power button ( with the blue light around it) when you press it for 3 sec like manual says in order to shut it down, shouldn´t I notice any change on the NVR when I´m doing it ( because nothing seem to happen when I press it and I know that cutting power of without doing this might damage the HDD- am I right? )

 

I have a 7200rpm seagate disk in it and I just want to know if it´s normal to be so loud- (if you know what

I mean -Dahua recommends 7200rpm )

 

I have a 42 inch plasma tv and when using the HDMI caple I did not receive anything upon my tv !? - but works well with VGA

 

I was trying it out via LAN yesterday and it worked like a charm ( using PSS). Not sure what happened next but when I went away and came back to play more I wasn´t longer able to connect to the camera : ....I remember invalid password ...locked out ..bla bla bla..

 

Is there any way to reset/restart pss ( already tried uninstalling PSS) ..or well any ideas at all ??
