Fox9 0 Posted May 20, 2013 You need to port forward and use ddns for remote view. Thank you for your reply! I checked DDNS and they have 3 different type 1. CN99, 2. DynDns. and 3. ORAY. Not sure which one ? also they were asking for domain name too which I dont know what it is. How can I find it ? Thank you in advance
Kawboy12R 0 Posted May 21, 2013 Pick one of your options for DDNS, sign up, and you'll get your personalized domain name to use with the DDNS service during signup. Then use that instead of an IP address in the DVR so when your IP address changes the DDNS service handles the number change.

coyoteknee 0 Posted May 24, 2013 I personally use DynDns, but any of the options in the replies should work very similarly.
SAJEEL 0 Posted May 25, 2013 You need to know what port the application is using and then open that open that open on your router. this site will help you http://portforward.com/default.htm Then sign up for a dyndns account here http://www.noip.com/ you will install the client on pc on same network as dvr. If the dvr supports dyndns then you can enter details into dvr. Once all is done switch wifi off on mobile and test. An example of you address is http://homedvr.noip.com:1824 If your still stuck message me
