Voipmodo 0 Posted May 9, 2013 We just got in a demo of the Grandstream GXV3611 and wanted to post a screenshot and give some info. The cameras are pretty decent and in the same price range as the Dahua that everyone keeps talking about, but these actually include a warranty. The GXV3611 is POE, 2MP, supports H.264 and MJPEG. They are ONVIF compliant and my install of Milestone found it automatically and enabled sound as well. Each of the cameras does include a VoIP Client internally so you can register them as PA devices on your SIP based phone systems. The unit has several Alarm outputs, and a neat yet untested feature is a built in smoke detector. Also included is the ability to auto call a SIP phone, ftp jpg, or HTTP alert to a server. Test shot looking into our breakroom. Its rainy outside today so will try to get outside shots later. The quality is decent for the price point though wont be winning any awards for contrast and white balance. The only thing that I did not like is the Cables coming out of the camera in are a rather large bundle and include the network Jack, DC Power connector(optional), Alarm contacts, and Mic/Speaker external connectors. MR2 0 Posted May 10, 2013 yeah quite a few ebay vendors are now selling Grandstream rebadged, I'm presently playing with a 3meg outdoor version, actually works quite well
NotSoSimple 0 Posted May 10, 2013 This is a dome camera, correct? And no IR?
MaxIcon 0 Posted May 10, 2013 Those sound like some great features. We're entering a golden age of inexpensive IP cams. The problem's going to be keeping track of them!
Voipmodo 0 Posted May 11, 2013 This is a Dome indoor camera with no IR. They have a Low Light camera for indoor use, and they also have a few outdoor models as well.
captainpsp 0 Posted May 14, 2013 Getting couple of these. Any recommendation on ceiling mounts for these?
Voipmodo 0 Posted May 14, 2013 They do not have a mounting bracket separate on these There is a hole cutout sheet included to use as a template and the bottom comes off and acts as a mounting plate which you can then use toggle or other connectors to mount (not included).
