DVR Remote Viewing Error

My dvr is working alrite locally and remotely till yesterday when it stopped connecting remotely, so what i did to troubleshoot

1. I checked the cable connection from router to dvr. (ok)

2. I rebooted the dvr.

3.i checked the internet connection locally and at location where dvr is placed. (ok)

Please give advice as what else can i do to rectify the problem,give as many suggestions you can. Thank You
