tin34543 0 Posted May 20, 2013 Hi, I notice that most security cameras that can record at night have a ring of infrared LED's around the camera to provide the require IR light. This is fine except I have a situation where I need to hide the cameras as much as possible, so they are not "noticed". At night although IR LED's are dim they still identify the presence of a camera. Is there anyway round this? Cheers PT
AmillenBlake 0 Posted May 24, 2013 The IR security cameras can be hidden and made invisible. You can hide it in small bushes or on a tree so that it is not visible. But remember not to bury it inside the ground or cover it completely.
Kawboy12R 0 Posted May 25, 2013 Get a true day/night camera without LEDs (or ones that can be turned off) and use a separate 940nm illuminator. 850nm illuminators are the ones that glow red. 940nm costs more but are essentially invisible.
