tekkie 0 Posted May 24, 2013 From the images it looks like a WD Green HD? Anyone know if its the EARS EURS model etc? I would like to have the exact same model for a mirrored drive Also does anyone know if its using software or hardware raid? Just curious
JoeyJoey 0 Posted May 24, 2013 Also does anyone know if its using software or hardware raid? Just curious From reading the manual, it looks like it just copies files over, its not RAID. I asked Lorex tech support for my ftp id/password so that I can retrieve the files that way and auto backup to an external NAS. They didn't say no, but they told me to call the 800 number and closed the ticket. hmm

MaxIcon 0 Posted May 25, 2013 Here's a tighter close-up on the hard drive in the Swann, which appears to use the same components at the Lorex except for the MB: viewtopic.php?p=217647#p217647 It's definitely a eurs here.
