jdoggg1 0 Posted June 14, 2013 I'd like to be able to virtually answer the door via my Android phone. The doorbot is about as close as I've come to finding the solution. https://christiestreet.com/products/doorbot The problem is that I'd like it to be motion activated or have the ability to be triggered by my existing doorbell button. Anyone doing something similar?
buellwinkle 0 Posted June 14, 2013 You can get an AVTech push series camera. Comes with smartphone apps that chirp your phone when the PIR motion detector senses a person and you can connect to the camera with 2-way audio, assuming you get a model with mic & speaker. JohnnyCCTV 0 Posted June 26, 2013 I agree AVTECH is a good brand and with its PUSH VIDEO technology you will know right away ussually w/in 5 seconds on your smart phone that there was movement infront of the camera. You will need to install (Eagleeyes) an Application that is a free download in the Android market or the Apple Store. The version you want, the one with two way audio is the AVN813. It's also Wifi if needed. Easy to use also. JohnnyCCTV
