Deaz2000 0 Posted June 23, 2013 Hello, I purchased the Swann system from Costco.com http://www.costco.com/.product.100037980.html. The picture is excellent during the day; however, when night time comes the picture becomes extremely distorted with the IR on or off. Is this normal for the amount of money I spent and should I be happy or is there something wrong? Thank you for any help. blake 0 Posted June 24, 2013 Video looks good besides the trailing effect with the guy walking the dog. What's your frame rate set at?
Deaz2000 0 Posted June 24, 2013 It is set at 30fps. So the distortion or pixelation in the video is normal for night?
shockwave199 0 Posted June 24, 2013 I don't have the swann system but you might want to see if WDR is enabled and try it without it, or lowered if possible. If there is some kind of noise reduction setting or maybe shutter speed setting, it could be that needs adjusting. Also, set your frame rate to 15fps and see what happens with a fast moving jogger.
