SeeYou 0 Posted June 24, 2013 Hello to all, I am sure this has been asked before. I have two DVR's, both are installed in one room for security. I want to be able to view all of the camera feeds on one LCD monitor located some 15 metres away and also select individual screens if required, I am aware of software that allows this type of viewing on a PC / LAPTOP setup. I have searched the Web but have been unable to find a suitable answer. Any & all answers appreciated
SectorSecurity 0 Posted June 24, 2013 What you need is an 8 channel multiplexer. Something like this: http://www.ambery.com/8quvimupige.html Then you would connect a cable to the BNC video out with a BNC connector on one end and connect the other end to the AV video in on the TV with an RCA connector. SeeYou 0 Posted June 29, 2013 Hello, Thanks for your answers. I should mentioned I have 20 cameras to view across both DVR's so is the PC route with software my only option. I have looked at KVM equipment but have no knowledge of their capabilities or limitations. Regards

SectorSecurity 0 Posted June 30, 2013 KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) allows you to control two or more pc's through the use of one monitor keyboard and mouse, it is not designed to let you view 2 at once.
