ssnapier 0 Posted June 25, 2013 I would like to find one that is POE powered, but POE power is not a deal breaker. I need to run a few thermal cameras and I would rather not mount enclosures if I can avoid it, which is why POE would be useful since I could power them from my wireless bridge. Any suggestions on a product that meets these needs? Two channel of 4 channel, I don't care, just not single channel.
SectorSecurity 0 Posted June 25, 2013 Something like this would work: http://www.axis.com/products/cam_q8108r/ I believe it is IP rated, not sure to what extent.
ssnapier 0 Posted June 25, 2013 Except that is an NVR and I need an encoder (video server).
ilk 0 Posted June 25, 2013 Except that is an NVR and I need an encoder (video server). Try Moxa, they have a range of industrial rated video servers (and supporting network kit) Ilkie

It is customer provided equipment, so I am stuck with it. These are older FLIR SR-19's and they are tough as can be, just not ideal.
