mar1usc 0 Posted June 27, 2013 Hello, I need some help/tip from a professional. I am a network engineer that offer support for a client that has a network of more than 20 samsung SNP-3371 cameras. The server (not DVR) has Axxon software on it. (don't know exacly witch version but i'm sure it's the bussiness / professional one, not the free one) The problem: The problem is that when the PTZ commands are used, they work with a bit of delay, and after 1.5h - 2h the whole sistem crashez. No more PTZ commands can be made. After the server software is restarted the hole sistem works again. Details: The cameras use the Pelco-D protocol for the PTZ and the console uses RS-422 The network has the capability to transport UDP and TCP with 1ms delay up to 90 Mbps with 0 packet loss Cameras are set up to transfer aprox 1.75Mbps with H.264 video format Does anyone knows if there can be any problems of incompatibilty between Axxon software Samsung Cameras on PTZ that uses Pelco-D protocol ? Do you have any propositions ? I am open to questions that may clarify the situation. Thanks!
treborsz 0 Posted July 15, 2013 Why do you use the serial interface? Information from Axxon Drivers Pack regarding this camera: "Video receiving with some settings of video and the image, telemetry works via Onvif."
