Biofarmer 0 Posted July 3, 2013 Looks to me like they are clearing out old technology. Not much new in IP except the(questionable 640x480) Samsung SmartCam at 2 for $200. akshark 0 Posted July 3, 2013 Actually HD-SDI just hit the market about 1 year ago, so it is fairly recent. Basically it allows you to get HD quality over existing coaxial cabling. Since there are millions of old school analog systems installed using coax and a 2-wire power source you can upgrade your system without pulling new wiring for I/P systems.
