Q-See QC804 vs QC808 1080p fps

Do any of you have the Q-See QC808 8 channel NVR? I was looking at either that or the QC804 (4 channel)

 

From their specs, the QC808 does 15fps with ( 1080p cameras -- does anyone know if I only have (4) 1080p cameras connected to it, will it do 30fps like the QC804? I know there was an older thread here with some speculation that the 804 & 808 might be the same hardware underneath. The price for the 808 is ironically enough cheaper than the 804 at amazon.

 

I only plan on having (3) 1080p cameras hooked up for the time being, but would like the flexibility of adding up to 5 or 6 in the future.

FWIW, the 804 is $100 less on amazon than the 808

30 fps is entirely overrated. This is from a 2mp 1080p camera I installed. How many fps do you think that is?

You'd be correct at 15. And that's plenty. Even 10 is fine. In my opinion, of course.
