MRWHITE35 0 Posted December 4, 2005 If i just leave the one camera on, it seems to be ok, but I set the frame rate to 15 FPS. But if I view the files through Windows media player it seems speeded up, so if I right click on properties. It says 30 FPS, is this normal? GV-
rory 0 Posted December 4, 2005 i noticed that too, what to do is if in View Log or in Remote Playback, open the recorded file and then click save as AVI ... it then saves it in its normal speed .. Rory
Jasper 0 Posted December 5, 2005 I noticed that as well. I think Geos players are setup to compensate for the frame rate to it doesn’t appear sped up, but fluid. I didn’t know that you could save as an AVI though and make it play normal through Windows Media Player. That’s good to know. Thanks.
Jasper 0 Posted December 5, 2005 Makes sense now that I think about it. Geo has their proprietary codec which only their players recognize so when you save the file as an AVI it is actually converts the file from their codec to a Windows Media Player format.
