outdoor pan and tilt wireless camera - top mounted ??

Hello, I just purchased a Foscam FI8919W and am trying to find something similar that is TOP mounted.

 

The side mount style of this camera really makes it stick out and it doesn't work well with my front door entry area...its a brick house.

But, why is it junk? Personal experience?

I'm trying to save you time and effort. I've seen it in person. It's not quality and has connection issues. It will not look good at night and remote viewing is horrible. You should set it up on your table and program it and all and see if you like it before you start looking for another mount.

Know of any high quality pan/tilt maybe zoom top mounted outdoor cameras?

 

Wireless would be best but obviously not required.

Most of the wifi ptz cameras are junk. You best bet is to get a real ptz IP camera and connect it to a wifi bridge. Read this topic and see what I recently did with a 2 megapixel IP ptz camera.
