wkdwrx 0 Posted July 14, 2013 hi all im thinking buy a new dvr as im not happy with my ge dvr 30 not very good pic quality and when play back it got very slow pause takes like 1/2 sec to pause and play back is disgusting . im thining of buying a new 16ch dvr heres the specs I just wanna know if its any good This listing is for 16 ch standalone dvr.without hard driveThis is FULL D1 16 ch which means records16 ch at d1 resolution at the same time.Most of the dvr on ebay are D1 but not all 16 channels.( pay attention on other listings) High deffinition output ,HDMI ,VGA and BNC output.This unit weights 6 kg without hard drive.Any questions are welcome.This is proffesional unit.I'm sure the installers know what 200 FPS at D1 resolution means>this units sell for around $1000 + trade price .If you need a hard drive let me know. joseph.chen0312 0 Posted July 16, 2013 Hi You could try other resolution camera e.g. 420, 520 or 600tvl you may finding out difference from 700tvl. As you pointed out DVR is D1 but you hook up 700tvl as I presumed. Actually, 700tvl camera is more width than D1 so its called WD1. We have learned if you connect those two device it may caused distort and abberation in DVR display. Hence, you may get some 700tvl ( 960H/WD1) dedicated DVR and you will seeing better as you expect.
