mikefletcher85 0 Posted July 14, 2013 Does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive 4 port analog (preferred BNC style, but RCA will work too) capture card? I have a rack mount chassis that I was looking to replace my crappy Zmodo NVR. I don't want to spend much on the card, because I would rather spend the money and get new IP based cameras if the capture card is too expensive. Has anyone tried the USB video capture adapters? Any luck with those? Here's an example: http://amzn.com/B0019SSSMY
SCI2Watch 0 Posted August 23, 2013 I know this may be a point of contention with some; if you are looking for a rather inexpensive option and are already looking at a full IP solution, I would recommend GeoVision IP cameras. They come with a disc to load the NVR software. The IP cameras are a little more expensive, but in a 4 channel solution the balance of not having the cost of a capture card works out for the quality of equipment you're getting.
