Hickvision ds-7204 problem after firwmare update

I have a Hickvision ds-7204 that update firmware through iVMS-4000 software(M72040_firmware_DVR_100127_MULTILANG)

Everything went well i get the message "update firmware succesfull" but when i reboot the device never working again

 

When apear the first screen "H264 tecnology DVR.. etc" the device make restart again and again all the time

 

Any ideas please..

If you updated the wrong firmware, on the wrong device, you can send in the DVR for service. And you have an old unit, which I think you do, it will probably be easier to just buy a new one.

 

Did you actually know what you were doing when you tried to update it...?

OK but if the firmware it was wrong why loaded and WHY when finished I get the "update successfully" message?

 

Wrong firmware= device dead (no boot)

 

In this case device boot (for while~45sec) appear initial screen and rebooting again
