adex 0 Posted July 21, 2013 Hello! I have a stand-alone DVR system ST-RJ0401: This system has a feature named "backup via built-in USB 2.0 port" but it does not work for me. When I connect the DVR to my computer via USB cable the DVR says "HDD used by USB". The HDD of the DVR appears in computer's Device Manager and Disk Management but it does not appear in My Computer because the HDD does not contain any partitions. The Disk Management shows this HDD as Unallocated space. But the DVR works fine with this unpartitioned HDD - I can record videos and play them. I did install DXclient. I can control my DVR by this application but I still cannot access the HDD, DXclient's "HDD" button is inactive. I bought this DVR used and I haven't any software disk.
