fauzan 0 Posted July 30, 2013 Dear All, I'm trying Axxon Next for my VMS software, but it won't record. The Archive settings seems like a blank page too. Could someone help me solve this problem? Thanks...
markh 0 Posted August 15, 2013 You could try the super simple stuff, like Restart your PC. It maybe that Axxon cannot see your Drives ? Are your disks local or network attached ?
buellwinkle 0 Posted August 15, 2013 I tried getting it work properly and got frustrated and gave up. The one time I got a few cameras going, it used so much CPU it wasn't feasible. They had a very nice booth at ISC West in Vegas, and they seem like nice people, just too difficult to setup.

buellwinkle 0 Posted August 16, 2013 I've done booth duty for several companies and based on the venue, the size of their booth, and flying everybody in from Russia, that booth had to set them back at least $250K, so they must be serious about their product. Don't even get me started about their booth babes with the Russian accents, very inspiring.
icamera 0 Posted August 16, 2013 Hmm... What did they tell you about the Axxon product? Aren't you a network engineer? If you cant figure it out that doesn't speak well about ease of setting up the software.... buellwinkle 0 Posted August 16, 2013 Not network engineer, software engineer. I tried, but it's just not the least bit intuitive and I installed several NVR solutions, heck, I have 3 different ones running one PC at the moment. The demos at the booth all worked flawlessly. I told them all the trouble I had with their product and like marketing people, they said it's all improved in the new release. Maybe they'll be at the ASIS show next month Chicago, which reminds me I have to get the travel setup. But it's free to download and use, give it a shot.
