Alxcantan 0 Posted August 1, 2013 Recently I found my DVR's display frozen with animated pixels and lines going through the menus. I unplugged it (there is no off switch) and plugged it back in, and the loading screen also became fuzzy and pixelated also. Ultimately my DVR will not load at all. The hard drive light is solid red. I opened the unit and there is no visible burns or damaged components on the PCB and all connections are secure. Any insight would be great! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
JohnnyCCTV 0 Posted August 1, 2013 It sounds like the video processor might be going bad. If you have another Video output on the DVR i would try plugging that into the same or a different monitor. If it works then it might give you a little more life out of it. If nothing at all then it is bad for sure.
